Rose, Apparently some system files have become corrupted. Reinstall a fresh copy of W98 on top of the present system, this will leave all other files untouched. To do this you will need the W98 CD . Avoid reformatting the drive otherwise you will lose all the files on the drive. ALSO back up you Outlook Express before reinstalling.
