    3. I have saved a lot of emails in folders in a documents folders, now I would liketo put those emails back into my folders I have set up in Outlook Express. I thought I could just high light the messages in the folder and drag them back , but doesn' t seem to work, do I have to drag them back one by one>> peggy in Texas

    3. Most likely they have not (originally) been saved in the correct format, Peggy, so that is why they are not now compatible with Outlook Express. OE messages need to be saved with the ".eml" extension. You have most likely saved them with the ".txt" extension (plain text). However, despite that problem, what you have done (in saving them in My Documents) is a good idea. This is because having too many messages stored in OE can cause the program to slow down, so it is best to save them in another location (as you have done). You can still read them from there and all the information is available. To access any future messages you save in My Documents, just make sure you save them with the ".eml" extension. Then all you will have to do is click on the message (in the My Documents folder) and it will automatically open in OE. The other thing to remember is that messages from Roots Web lists can always be accessed in the Archives for each List, so there is really no need to save those types of messages if they are only for casual reference.
