    3. I have MS OE 6. Windows 98SE.I use the "preview message pane" At times I need to search a e-mail that I have received for a surname. How do I do that?? I see the "find" icon at the top of the screen. All I can figure out there is to find a specific message. I would like to find a word in a certain message.. Any way to do that?? Thanks!! 3. Be sure you are in the "box" you want to search. Click the Find button in the toolbar or go to Edit > Find and choose the option : Message will search all folders and "Message in this folder" is just that. Do not enter anything in the top three fields: From, To or Subject unless you are sure about it. Enter the word you want to find in the message field, set the time limits and click new search. I can't seem to get the Find in this folder to find the second instance, unless I use the "Advanced find" button. Alfred D. 3. Don't know if this will work in OE, but on some sites if you hold down the Alt key while you strike the f key and popup will show up and highlight what you are looking for. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jane Gillespie" <gillespie4491@bellsouth.net> To: <GEN-COMP-TIPS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, August 21, 2004 12:31 PM Subject: [Gen-Comp-Tips] Searching for a word in E-mail Message > I have MS OE 6.
