    3. I downloaded it last night too, on a Dell Dimension 8250. So far, running smoothly. I did add some sites to be allowed in the Firewall. It took a long time to install, seems like longer than it took to download. I have DirecPC satellite, so downloads are faster than dialup. I have ordered the CD for my laptop though. Microsoft XP Download is Highlighted in Red. I went in to read about it again, and it is ready to download. The instructions are telling me that I need to sit in attendance while it is downloading, (in the background),and answering any questions, etc. My Dial-Up Provider has added on a new dial-up add-on for $5.00 more a month, and I subscribed, and the difference it has made is unbelievable, so this will make the download much easier. Microsoft is telling me that I need to backup my programs, etc. I backed up my computer when I purchased it 3 months ago, etc. Question: Is it time to do this? Should I wait? Please respond. Thanks, Janet
