Just thought before I drove everyone mad that I would let you know I have sorted out my GEDCOM transfer problem. I originally saved direct to disc which seems to have been my major mistake. I redid the whole process saving first to desktop then again to floppie and it has gone onto RootsMagic like, well, magic! Thanks to all who have read my tales of woe, Heather
