    3. Thanks for the info but I will NEVER change. I have no reason to.......never a virus or worm in all my years on the computer. I keep my anti-virus protection up to date on a daily basis (which means several times a days somedays). I am already aware of the problems you mentioned, but it's good to know you're concerned. Opera is highly rated, both for ease of use and speed. Mozilla recently had a small security problem which (unlike IE) was promptly responded to and fixed. Most writers (of computer columns and newsletters) recommend this practice and I feel it is sound advice to follow. I have both Opera and Mozilla installed. Opera is the one I use most of the time. Mozilla I use for testing sites my son creates in his profession. But don't take my word for it. Read through these sites and see what they have to say: http://tinyurl.com/2qq3u http://www.smarthouse.com.au/ArticlesByTopic/HomeSystems/Security/1631 http://www.geek.com/news/geeknews/2004Jun/sec20040630025811.htm http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?p=239278 http://www.technewsworld.com/story/32808.html There should be enough information there to convince most of the wisdom of changing. In the bargain I didn't like Opera at all. Maybe things would be different now, but I'm not about to find out!! Maureen --- avast! Antivirus: Outbound message clean.
