    3. Peggy I also live on ssi and can not get DSL because I live in rural area . My ISP does not offer Senior plans I pay $20 a mo. to comstantly get dropped off . Somehow this just doesn't seem right. I'm afraid to download anything because i'm offline before it's complete. I may be in jail MOnday but I have had enough.     3. I've never (or rarely) had problems with disconnections. I was on AOL for a dozen years, then got fed up with their poor tech response and their blocking RootsWeb mailing lists. I switched to Earthlink six months ago and have had no problems with disconnections, and have found their tech support to be fast and helpful.
