Thanks for your (interesting) feedback, Phil. Your answer was predictable. It is strange that no one else seems to have had those problems with WinZip, or if they have had, they haven't reported it. At least you seem to be able manage the necessary tasks with Bigspeed so that's good. Hello Lance list and All that asked, Phil here: I was being 'nice'. I did not want to get bounced from the list for using foul language. So, insert expletive of your choice where I put 'buggy', I found the prog to be extremely poor programming. Total lack of support, I could not get it to function correctly. After reading the directions fifteen time all I could usually get is a Error "Nothing to Do", OR when it would zip up something I could not locate where it put it! After a few frustrating tries I sent it to Cyberheaven and got PKZip, which worked fine, until my Hard drive exploded last month. I now use Bigspeed as it is free !! I spent 5-7 hours looking at the various progs, and settled for it! Phil --- avast! Antivirus: Outbound message clean. Marie, >I need help again. >I have lost my Outlook Express Icon on my screen when I boot up is that my >Desk Top. >The only way I now look up my Emails is via the little icon on the Task >bar. >How can I get it back? >Marie Put your mouse over the icon. Hold down the right mouse button and move it to the desktop then release it. When you do release you should see Copy here. Left click on that and the icon is back on your desktop. Art
Dear Art, I did that before I posted the message to the list. I now have the icon from the Task Bar on the Desk Top and nothing on the Task Bar. How do I get back the original one that was on the Desk Top. ? Marie

Just follow the procedure in reverse if you want the icon in both places. Art
