Morning, All, (or evening!) Since the auto-install of SP2 (?) I have an odd message at the bottom of the screen when I am in OE6 email mode, NOT FOUND The requested url/oe5/connect was not found on this server As my server is the French Wanadoo and the message is in English they 'deny all knowledge'. Any ideas, the experts? It appears to have no impact on running OE or IE (or anything!). Bob Platten, Paris

Therefore, I would suspect that OE is trying to open a web page included in an email that you have received. Most likely SPAM. It could also be some type of malware. I suggest you check you mailboxes and run Ad-Aware and SpyBot to see if those help the problem. Art
