Hi Bob , Ray and all I am somewhat mystified by your comments I use XP home I have updates set to accept all, they are occasional (perhaps 1 or 2 per month) they generally install with no problem and never have I had changes to anything noticeable and certainly never have I had an attempt to change my set up or swap from OE to Outlook Sadly I cannot tell you the reason your set up is different to mine but perhaps someone can?
