    3. Hi - other than it being in a place that a "vanilla" installation of Outlook is looking for it, it could be that the pst file has been corrupted. All is not lost since there is a Microsoft utiliuty that repairs pst files. I use it once every month or two just to check. For my computer, it is found in C:\program files\windows nt\windows messaging and c:\program files\common files\system\mapi\1033\nt I don't the difference - both say they are v5.1.2600.5508 but they have different sizes. Both seem to work OK. Com Subject: [GEN-COMP-TIPS] OUTLOOK PST Hi all, My granddaughter says she cannot gain access to her Outlook mails or addresses etc from XP. She had a BSOD recently and sent it to the doctor who has got the m/c working again - but now no access to any Outlook files. Notice says 'Outlook cannot access the .pst file'. Can the .pst file be corrupt perhaps - She has found the file, can it be read somehow into a text file or something? Her Outlook contains all her work email addresses etc. Rather important to her.
