    3. Another option or idea. My local library recently purchased digital microfilm / fiche readers that allow you to copy JPEG, TIFF, etc. files on your laptop. In my case, take laptop to library. Download digital reader *drivers* to laptop. (This process is similar to adding a new printer or other peripheral to your computer.) Connect laptop to reader via USB cable. Insert microfilm / fiche into reader. Locate pages and save to laptop. - Took me about 2 trips to the library to get organized, then about 2 hours to get started working.
