Dennis, before I started using Mailwasher, I used a small notification program called "Pop Man". I don't have any spam problems and the only reason that I use a notification program is to delete large emails that are a problem with dial-up. I have disabled Mailwasher and re-installed Pop Man. I very seldom bounced a message anyway. I might just remove Mailwasher and use the small Pop Man program. It's strange the Mailwasher started that problem all at once. I had been using it over a year with no problem. Thanks for your help.
