You could try importing the gedcom into Excel either directly if you are lucky or via your word processor. Check and correct the excel version before loading into Legacy. Alternatively see if you can both talk to each other via RTF (rich text format) or CSV (comma separated variable) files You may still need to import via excel. Tigger
