    3. Bob you know precisely what I meant by that, if you buy a new PC package with various items of software you generally get an older or lesser issue than if you bought it from a shop on its own. You do not get Works suite 2006 you get Works 8, Works 8 has Word 2002 not 2003 Like all businesses, computer suppliers are there to make a profit and they will not buy the most up to date or advanced software licences as it costs more. I did not say it was not paid for or incomplete but it is in effect given as an enticement to buy the PC but no there is no such thing as a free lunch (the cost is in the PC). Often the PC supplier will preload software and not supply the CD with it on, again its saves a little. I am not blaming them but thats the way it is.
