My thanks to all who responded to my query regarding Word 2003 on a new notebook. The general opinion seems to be that Microsoft Works Word package will not be sufficient to use the online tutorials that I was interested in. Rita After reading the details in the link to the HP site, it seems to me that you have a trial copy of Word 2003, valid for 60 days after activation by the product key. If you still want to do the online tutorial you have 60 days to try it out, after which time you can decide if you want to purchase the software.
