Has anyone ever used the Gen-Brit list? I subscribed and was told it was "gatewayed" to the soc-genealogy list. I understand some kind of mutual sharing of messages but not how it works. I get two types of messages from the Gen-Brit list which is the only one I am subscribed to here. Some are mailing list messages (GenBrit?) and some are newsgroup messages(soc.genealogy?) My problem is that my emails to GenBrit take ages to appear (compared to rootsweb) and then I see answers before I see the questions. Maybe I'm nit-picking here but its very irritating, trying to follow a discussion! Is this something to do with my recent entry into the world of Hotmail? Vee in UK
