Lets try again with the correct address - I hope ----- Original Message ----- From: Heather Smith To: GEN-COM-TIPS-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Saturday, July 17, 2004 9:57 PM Subject: (GEN-COM-TIPS) Norton 2004 Pro Today my Norton advised I was due an update so I have downloaded the Norton 2004 Pro Antivirus programme and it is installed and running fine. Having got that far I deleted my temp. and Temporary internet files before doing a full scan and discovered I now have a Norton protected recycle bin. Being a very nervous deleter I am not sure what to do with the newer presentation of an uneraser option. Having put my stuff into the recycle bin I want to get rid, especially as it now seems to fill with deleted spam/deleted emails/ etc. Can some patient soul take me step by step through this one so I can easily get rid of unwanted stuff. I would also like to know if I can get rid of a setup icon which appeared on my desktop along with another NP1OESD.exe while downloading Norton. Again, in words of one syllable please. TIA Heather

    3. Hi Heather, I have Norton SystemWorks 2003. I open the program and click on Options. In the drop-down menu, I click on Norton Utilities. Then I click on the tab for Recycle Bin. I can choose UnErase Wizard, All protected files, Standard Recycle Bin. I pick the one I want and click OK. Your Norton 2004 Pro Antivirus may be similar.
