I don't have an answer for you--as I do not have Vista. But you might try your old program on your new computer to see if it is compatible. Otherwise, just google for what you want and add +free to your search. You can usually find several answers by doing that. What sort of photo editing - juts basic, or more sophisticated? Kodak Easyshare's software id free and easy to use, not too sophisticated, but works well for the most basic things, and you don't have to use the camera with it.
