Firstly, thanks to all the kind people who contacted me re the above problem. I've since discovered that if I highlight a selection in a Word document the 'selection' facility in the Print box becomes activated, and I can then print it out. This also works for Excel and Rich Text files, but not for Notepad or Text files, and most annoyingly of all, it still doesn't work for email messages. And another puzzle is that I get a different print box up on the screen (after hitting Control + P, or File - Print) for a Word document, than for an e-mail message. For Word, the box has the following print options: Page range; All; Current page; Pages; Selection (activated) When trying to print selections from my e-mail, and once again hitting either Control + P, or File - Print, the print dialog box that appears on the screen has only: Print range: All; Pages from; Selection (not activated) My mail system is Netscape Communicator 4.7 Any further suggestions will be most welcome, Mal, W.
