Isn't there some way to have OE allow attachments from people in your address book? If not, there should be. Does OE have an e-mail address?

Go to the Tools menu, click on Options, then the "Security" tab. Remove the checkmark from in front of "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus." That line seems to stop you from opening ANY attachment from anyone. You still have to be careful and keep your anti virus program updated.
