I had to get out some files on the farm history I had written up c. 1987 to 1995 and was sad to find that all the ink on the pages had faded, this was done with an Epson LQ printer, can't remember the model number, so I now have to reprint them all, thank goodness they are still on the hard drive well I hope they are!!!!!! that will keep me busy this winter. The file is in a filing cabinet and not accessed very often. But what do I use, do I print then and then get them photo copied? This is rather serious for all ink jet printed paperwork, it will not store and I am wondering about all the legal papers we have to keep the pages will be blank, plus the stuff produced for deeds and wills, I doubt the ink will still be readable.
