Sandy, as you are using Outlook Express v.6, it could be that OE is removing the attachments from your email messages from the ENG-Manchester list. As a test, go to TOOLS|OPTIONS|SECURITY and remove the selection from the option in VIRUS PROTECTION that states in part "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened....", then see if the attachments come through. If that doesn't have any effect, replace the selection. The next remedy would be to subscribe to the LIST rather than the DIGEST version. That way you will get all of the messages direct, not as attachments. Hello Lance, Thank you for your advice I shall try your suggestion and hope that it works. If not as you say I shall have to get my mail in List form.
