If you copy the files from the CD back to your hard drive, you will then be able to remove the read only attribute. You cannot change it on the CD itself. Alfred D. Thank you. I misunderstood how the CD-RW's could be used apparently. Today I could erase/delete what was on the file whereas in the past I could not. It's a challenge.
