After disabling Norton yesterday, I stayed on line for about 6 hours with no further problem and have been on again this morning for about 2 hours without interruption - so...... it seems to me that we have isolated the cause of the problem to Norton. You have probably seen the correspondence between Kathy and myself and after a few more hours if I get no drop outs I am going to follow her suggestion and re-enable Norton and switch off the Auto Live Update feature and see if I still stay connected. What do you think?
