That happened to me with my combo Xerox when I was a newbie. It was a beautiful machine, cost $349, and I especially liked it because my desk space is limited. When the paper feeder went on the blink, it would have cost $149 to have it fixed, plus UPS cost to send it to the factory. It still sits in my spare room. On the other hand canon do a super scanner printer copier and faxer for about £79 .00 so a good buy Regards Shirley ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pat Fite" <patdfite@houston.rr.com> To: <GEN-COMP-TIPS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, September 18, 2004 9:49 PM Subject: [Gen-Comp-Tips] Scanners and printers > I am interested in buying a 4 in 1 combination printer, scanner, copier and > fax machine. > I want it to do color pictures and be able to scan legal size documents, > preferable on > a flat bed rather than sheet fed.
