I used to get attachments on my old computer that had Windows 2000 Prof on it. I have a new computer with Windows XP. When you update XP it has security. In addition this computer came with Norton security. Thanks, Sybil. I'm still running Win98 and the more I hear about the new versions the happier I am to stay with the old. Never a virus or worm either in 6 yrs I've had my PC. No problems at all actually, and I belong to m-a-n-y mailing lists and also do a lot of online ordering of merchandise. However,I am fanatical in keeping my anti-virus protection updated so maybe that helps.
