    3. I am trying to download a file from the Internet and save on my CD RW. I have named the file, on the CD, and when I try to download, it goes to Drive C: Burner program, and begins saving on Drive: C. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Janet

    3. I do believe that you SHOULD save a download to your hard drive, then copy it to the CD. I know I would ruin a lot of CDs if I could burn while downloading. The download is much slower than the CD will burn and that throws the process off enough that the CD burn is messed up enough that it is no good. At least, I remember something like that in the early days of burning CDs, "Make sure that your hard drive can keep up with your CD burner" was one of the first warnings. Alfred D. 3. When I download I always have to download it to C Drive and then use the cd burning software to transfer the download to the disk. After that you can delete the file off C Drive.
