If you have a built-in or plug in network card on your new laptop, it should find the network by itself. When I go to my daughter's house, all I have to do is turn on my laptop, and it automatically finds her network. The same is true if I go to a coffee shop or hotel with wireless access. However, my HP Pavilion laptop has a button that enables/disables my wireless capability. When I first set up my wireless network, it was a while before I discovered that button. If you have the same, be sure it's enabled. I have a pc with broadband and a laptop which is wireless through a router. I have bought a new laptop, but can't remember how to add the new one to the network. I have info on it, but all I can seem to find is how to reinstall broadband, or configure the router, but it says that only needs configuring once. Can anyone help please?
