    3. Hello Sybil The way I do it is to save the attachment to the Desktop. There I right click on the icon, and choose "Scan with Norton Antivirus". This is very quickly done, and I can then (hopefully) open the file. I'm assuming you have an AV program installed. If not, well, that's another question altogether!!
