Thank you for the advice Gary. A ballon pops up from a new icon at the bottom of my computer & says you may be a victim of software counterfeiting. I have not added any new software lately but I did a disc cleanup because of low disc space right before this happened. Would that cause a problem? I REALLY appreciate any advice for my peace of mind. If you have a virus protection program update it & run it to eliminate that possibility, which I must admit I don't think it is. After that click on the balloon & I think it will take you to Microsoft telling you that you have an illegitimate version of Windows installed. If it is this it is up to you whether you ignore this, which won't harm your computer, or pay for a illegitimate version via the net.
