    3. Well, Doris was right, you can't permanently remove the toolbar through View. It went last night but this morning it was back when I started up. I uninstalled CCleaner, then later downloaded it but this time clicked that I didn't want Yahoo Toolbar, but of course, the toolbar was still there when I restarted. Went to Yahoo, and there's a place where you can join the queue to ask how to install their toolbar (but nobody replies). So I shall have to click View when I start IE each time. Cool cool internet, wow. Thanks, John

    3. John, you shouldn't have to click view and un-click (is that a word??? LOL It is now~!) the Yahoo Toolbar each time you boot up. Once you un-click.......it should stay that way. 3. Hi Doris, It is, unfortunately. Didn't you say that this would not permanently remove Yahoo? You were right, it's still there "re-clicked" with the tick mark after I start up. As CCleaner finds its way around the operating system, it seems possible that it is designed to stay, no matter what. Isn't that how CCleaner collects from Yahoo? Let's face it, money changes hands with each successful download of Yahoo Toolbar. Yahoo.com has a whole list of people asking how to uninstall Yahoo Toolbar. My guess is that the answer would only come from CCleaner, and they are impossible to contact. They download through Filehippo.com, who collects donations, and who also can't be contacted. The only help I've had comes from this list.
