As an experiment I installed the Yahoo toolbar on my Mozilla Firefox browser and found that despite my best efforts with setting my preferences for the browser, the Yahoo toolbar took control. Every time the browser launched, Yahoo wanted to make the Yahoo site into my home page - I didn't. After declining Yahoo's offer each time I launched, I de-selected the Yahoo toolbar in the View - Toolbar menu. To un-install the Yahoo toolbar completely, as I believe has been suggested before in this thread, I clicked the Pencil button on the Yahoo toolbar and selected un-install. (BTW, the Pencil-like icon/button is only visible on the Yahoo toolbar when the Yahoo toolbar is ticked in the View/Toolbar menu.) I had previously installed the Yahoo toolbar on my Internet Explorer browser but did not have the same problems as above, though I only use IE to test web pages. LOL It is now~!) the Yahoo Toolbar each time you boot up. Once you un-click.......it should stay that way. > Doris
