    3. To remove the Yahoo Tool Bar: 1. Select "Uninstall" from the Pencil button (on Toolbar Settings). 2. Click "Uninstall" on the uninstall page. 3. Close any open IE windows. If it is listed in Add and Remove Programs in Control Panel, it can be removed from there also. > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > Sent: Mon, 23 Oct 2006 09:07:25 -0500 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [GEN-COMP-TIPS] CCleaner and Yahoo Toolbar > > Judy, you're correct, removing the check mark does not 'delete' the tool > bar........but at least it is no longer active. > Doris > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Judy in Ocala > To: [email protected] > Sent: Monday, October 23, 2006 7:26 AM > Subject: Re: [GEN-COMP-TIPS] CCleaner and Yahoo Toolbar > > > As I indicated before, you have not really "solved" your problem. 3. This was installed by CCleaner, who seem to know what they're doing. I repeat, Yahoo Toolbar was not removed by Add/Remove. After being clicked, the list of programs jumps so you can't see Yahoo at the bottom of the list, but when you click down, it's still there. I can click Add/Remove until I'm blue in the face, but it is uninstallable by that method. As long as I can't see it, I don't care, as it doesn't interfere with anything, as far as I know... Thanks, John ----- Original Message ----- From: "n.east" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, October 23, 2006 8:44 PM Subject: Re: [GEN-COMP-TIPS] CCleaner and Yahoo Toolbar > To remove the Yahoo Tool Bar: > 1.
