No, fortunately, the fires have not gotten that far south. Right now, they are in the Cape Canaveral area....a little east in Christmas, FL....and then north in the Volusia (Daytona, New Smyrna, Ormond Beach area). I guess you've heard by now that the NASCAR races in Daytona were cancelled. Sure was shocked to hear that. Daytona depends on that for their main source of income. Heard there was a little rain tonight in Leesburg (northwest of Orlando). We need to pray that it will spead over our way. I'm watching the news coverage about the fire. That's all that's been on my channel for two days. The reporters are so tired....you can really tell in their voices. Pray for rain for us......Stuart, south Florida areas...W. Palm, Ft. Pierce, are all fine. We did have a fire yesterday in Holopaw, FL (Osceola Co) but it's been extinguished. Mary
