    3. I've already received som help from Joan Young, for which I'm thankful. Still, I have a "lonely" ancestress, for whom I'd like to find additional info. Does anyone have any more information on the following? George GEIGER (1728-?) and Catharina Elizabetha ? are said to be the parents of 1. Mary Elizabeth GEIGER. Born on 25 Nov 1753; married on 16 Apr 1786, St. James Episcopal Church, Lancaster, PA to Martin WEYBRIGHT. Born in 1757 in PA; died in OH in 1827. Occupation: Farmer, Militia Captain, Deacon. Religion: German Baptist Brethren ("Dunkard") Church. -He became administrator of his father's estate in 1779, apparently the year he came of age. -He became a Captain in the 7th Company, 8th Battalion, of the Lancaster County Militia. -In 1789 he disposed of the farm of 250 acres on Connestoga Creek, three miles north of Lancaster, PA [which had been warranted to his grandfather in 1738] and moved to Somerset County, PA. In 1803 he moved to Ohio and took up government land on Wolfe Creek, 8 miles west of Dayton. In 1804 he sold his farm in Somerset County, PA. -In 1811 the Wolfe Creek District of the German Baptist Brethren Church was organized near his property. He is the first Deacon listed for the new church. -His will was probated at Dayton, OH in 1827. Their son: 2. Jacob WEYBRIGHT. Born on 14 Oct 1788 in Lancaster Co., PA; died in OH on 11 Nov 1865. Occupation: Farmer, 'Country Doctor'. Religion: GBBC. On 4 Aug 1812 he married Elizabeth FETTERS, daughter of Daniel FETTERS & Susannah SHOUP. Born in 1791; died in Montgomery Co. OH in 1872. Here are some questions I'd like help with: Does anyone have a death date for Mary Elizabeth GEIGER? Is more known regarding her parents? Did she have any siblings? If so, who were they, etc.? Can anyone provide a complete list of her children (All I have is her son Jacob)? And the big stumper: What were the circumstances that led Martin Weybright and Mary Elizabeth Geiger to move from "high church" Episcopalian to anabaptist German Baptist Brethren, and when did this happen?
