    3. Dave: I am the person looking for the Benjamin Geiger. I just wanted to let you know that a Benjamin Geiger does show on the Tax Lists for 1810 as being in Hempfield Twp., Westmoreland Co. He shows as Benj. Giger (weaver). There is also a Henry Giger on the same list in the same Twp. In the 1810 census for Westmoreland Co., PA it shows a Benj. Geiger in Unity Twp. with three males under 10, 1 male 10-16, 1 male 26-45 and 1 female under 10, one female 10-16, and one female 45 and up. Same census shows Henry Geiger in Hempfield Twp. with 2 males 16-26, 2 males 26-45, 2 females under 10, 1 female 10-16, 1 female 16-26, 1 female 26-45. There is a John Geiger in Unity Twp. with 2 males under 10, 2 males 16 to 26, 2 males 45 and up, 1 female 16-26, one female 26-45, and 1 female 45 and up. There is a John Geiger in Washington Twp. with 2 males under 10, 1 male 45 and up, 1 female under 10, 3 females 10-16, 2 females 16-26 and 1 female 45 and up. There is a Michael Geiger in Greensberg Twp. with 5 males under 10, 1 male 26-45, 1 female 26-45, and 1 other. I have not had a chance to digest all of this but maybe it will help others.
