Hi, Unfortunately I don't know very much about my Geiger line. Here's what I have: Georg Geiger (Sr) born about 1861, somewhere in Bavaria, Germany. He emigrated to the United States, to Baltimore, MD. I have his Naturalization papers from 1900, but have yet to find the application which would be helpful. I did find this on a lookup: Georg Geiger, 22, baker from Bavaria on "Weser" Bremen-Baltimore 15 Aug 1883. The above reference is from a lookup requested out of "Germans to America, Info by Glazier and Filby. Passenger Lists spanning 1850-1881, etc. Each book is individually indexed. This fits the information I have on occupation, etc. He was definitely a baker, started with the railroads in Baltimore but eventually opened his own bakery. Married Selma Hoensch (probably 1887 or so) in Baltimore MD Children: Minnie Selma Geiger b. abt. 1889 Baltimore, MD, died 1916, Baltimore, MD. William David Cullum b. abt 1888 also Baltimore, MD, One child: Clifton b. 1912 Johanna Geiger b. April 24, 1891, Baltimore, MD, died Dec 1978, Baltimore, MD m. Alexander Churchill Guest One Child: Doris Georg Geiger (Jr.). b. abt 1892 died after August 1945 (never married) Elizabeth Geiger b. September 9, 1894, died Oct 21, 1983 m. Edward Werking (no children) The only other clue I have is a postcard mailed from Munich in 1909 to Minnie. I have a friend at work translating the German script so hopefully I might have a better link after she is done. She seems to think there is an address mixed in with the writing. I know my Geiger line basically dies here in America, but I am hoping to follow it backwards. Let me know if anything clicks. Thanks Christina
