My notes from the article Dorthy Boyd-Rush wrote for "The Kiger Kounter" (Vol. 1, Issue 4): "Will was written May 3, 1779 and proved June 19, 1779, Warwick Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Will names the following: (1) wife: Christiana (Christina) and children (2) Christiana (Christina) who may be a child of either Christian's second or third marriage (3) George (4) Elizabeth (wife of Peter Leib) (5) Margaret/Margaretha (wife of John Bender) (6) Anna (believed to be Anna Maria who married George Dumm) Also mentioned, but not specifically named, were the children of the deceased son Wilhelm. It is likely that the other children of Christian from all three marriages predeceased their father and left no children as they are not included in the will of 1779." I seems very odd to me that he would name specific people and yet say "Christiana and children". IF she was a fourth wife, I would bet she brought her own children to the marriage. Maggie
