Our Geigers settled in Mahoning County, Ohio. Many of the family are buried in Springfield Township (I have a cemetery records book for this twp.). Gottlob (1829- 1905) was brought to America by his father, Daniel ( wife, Catharine) Geiger to Springfield Twp., Ohio. Gottlob married Gottleiba Myers, daughter of George and Mary (Koch) Myers; Gottlob and Gottleiba had 9 children: Mary Catherine (spouse, Isaiah Hoffman); Frank (Frances Elser); George; Julia; Louisa (Allen Felger); Clara (Nathaniel May); William (Matilda); Charles; and Tillie (Clinton Lipp). The county history book showed Frank Geiger living in the family homestead at the turn of the century. I haven't actively pursued this fact yet but am interested in locating cousins.
