It states that Hans Ulric Gieger was born 14 May 1729 in Berneck,Switzerland and married Appolonia (maiden name unknown). I am sure there are others on this list who can add to that information. By the way--my very Catholic Geigers for some reason unknown to me all became Protestants at some point after the Revolution (which legitimized the Catholic religion in New Jersey) after defending so vehemently their Catholic faith when it was illegal for them to practice it.
