In my continuing effort to sort out the Ohio Kigers I am wondering if anyone currently on the list can identify the following individuals. I am also in hopes that someone (how about you Dick--do you have access to this?) can check the census listings I quote below? Ohio Census 1820: Knox County: John Kiger, Morgan Township, page 92 Licking County: Samuel Kiger, Madason, page 38 I am pretty sure this Samuel is the one who married Susannah Nimerick in Knox County in 1816. I know he later moved to Clinton County, Ohio, and later to Parke County, Indiana where he died in 1842. Ohio Census 1830: Clinton County: Benjamin Kiger, Washington Township, page 124. Also can anyone tell me if Washington Township is near the border with Gallia County? Samuel Kiger, Chester Township, page 237. This is the same Samuel as above--I think. Now I know that the Anthony Geiger in Licking County on this census is Peggy Loos' Anthony--we have resolved that question. Monroe County: Daniel Kiger Henry Kiger James Kiger John Kiger all are living in Salem Township and are on page 107. Kay are these YOUR Kygers masquerading as Kigers or are they a different family? If we can answer some of these questions we will be well on our way to sorting our these Kigers! Joan
