I checked with an expert on the subject of Berks County and learned that prior to 1752 when the county was formed from Lancaster, Philadelphia, and Chester counties, Robeson Township--where Geigertown is located, was, indeed, a part of Lancaster County. The part of Berks which is east of the Schuykill River was in Philadelphia County, and part west was in Lancaster County, and Union Township was part of Chester County. Joan
