Eleanor, I agree--it never hurts to look at the big picture--MD and even WV need to be considered--we are doing that on a larger scale starting right now in working on the second part of the newsletter article on the Greene County, PA Kiger family who most assuredly has its roots in the many Geigers in these surrounding counties and states. Over the coming month or so on this list I plan to discuss my findings as they progress into these Geigers of Eastern and Western PA, Old Frederick County, MD and the northern border areas of what is now West Virginia--most notably Wetzel and Monongalia counties.
