Sharon, I really don't know but I would be willing to bet the Jacob in the Orphans Court record is the Jacob G�cker who arrived along with Henry G�cker on the ship Lydia in 1743. I would guess those two men were either father and son or brothers. I also am quite sure they are the ones who show up in Berks County records as Guecker and Gicker, and later on their descendants became known as Geiger. I think all of these later Geigers from this family descend from one of these two men (maybe both--if they are father and son and not brothers). So I think the Orphans Court record for Jacob gives us the maiden name of the immigrant Jacob's wife. At present that is all I can say about it with any degree of assurance. Joan
