Helene, yes--we have learned much about Christian Geiger. We continue to learn. I still have questions about the previously held ideas that Christian's son George was born in Dutch Valley and that he once had a wife named Catherine Beeler. I have searched high and low and can't find that anywhere that I can verify. I think there may have been some confusion at one time between George and another George Kyger who had a wife named Mary Beeler. But they are two dififerent Georges. Also, we have come to the conclusion that at one time people must have referred to the area where George was born as Dutch Valley but we can't verify that there ever really was a Dutch Valley. Joan
