Nancy, Barbara is referring to Adam Geiger/Geyer (we really don't know which he was originally) as the head of household--perhaps a better term would be progenitor since he is the earliest in this family we can identify. Among his children were Christopher and Johannes. Both had sons John who would be about the right age to be the one living in Orwigsburg--and who could potentially be the father of your Sarah Geier. And Barbara doesn't know anything about either of them--so we must consider them to be possible fathers for Sarah. Especially since Barbara tells us others connected to this family did go to Orwigsburg. Joan
