    3. Hi, Joan: I was going to answer your other post, but will do it here. Verda and James had a child born in 1933, so I guess we could "guesstimate" that they were married around 1932/33. I don't know where the name Leota came from right now, but I'll make inquiries and let you know. You can see that it was passed on in the family. It must have come down through Susan Belle Rodgers' family. I've not seen it in the Kyger line. They stayed fairly much passing on their own family lines...sister, brother, etc. It was a nice thing for them to do, except for those of us who are trying to separate them into family groups. What a headache. There may be some connections between the families you mentioned. Getting past all the DAniel Kygers is a real problem. That's why we have to pay particular attention to the dates of birth. I had some good theories at one time, but couldn't prove anything. However, there are still books in some libraries I haven't gone through. I do know for a fact that DAniel was born in 1762 and died in 1849. So, those are the dates I have to work with in order to get the right family. I wish I had more on Daniel, but it is not to be yet. I can't believe there were so many Daniel Kyger's born during that time period. If we continue to search, I'm sure that one day the mystery will be shown to us. In the meantime, I guess we just 'keep searching!' I didn't send the information about Verda Kyger to you because at the time we were looking for Daniel Kyger's parents. Verda came along in 1912. Isn't it great to be able to be in contact much quicker by e-mail instead of waiting days and days and days for a reply?! Good luck, everyone!
