I would caution you that the translations are very literal--since they are done by computer. After I did the translation I went back and smoothed it out a bit. Otherwise it would have come through saying the gentleman was looking for anyone who connects to "several families of violinists in Karlsruhe." That is due to the literal translation of Geiger to "violinist." Babelfish was unable to tell it was a surname. I just have to trust Babelfish to make a better English to German translation of my reply to Udo. Languages are tricky things to work with. Joan
