Recently found a wonderful tree on my husband's family and the submitter ACTUALLY answered my letter. The ancestor was born in Meekleburg, Germany in 1738 and settled in the Mohawk River area in New York State. He married a woman (very German name) born in Schoharie, New York. At least one of their chilren was born in Stone Arabia. The interesting part is that the family were active United Empire Loyalists whose lands were confiscated. They relocated to Canada.
